Patrick Aquilone
I am the founder of Love78 and the fellow responsible for many of the stories, comics, books, and occasionally overambitious ideas you find here. I love creating things that make people laugh, think, ask questions, and—above all—see a little more of the love of Jesus.
I am also a husband, father, lifelong learner, software engineer, and unapologetic fan of science fiction and games. If you have ever wondered why Love78 seems to wander into so many different creative directions, you have probably found the culprit.

Vicky Aquilone
Vicky is my wife, my best friend, and the person whose perspective I trust most. She is the sounding board for my ideas, the voice that helps me see what works and what needs another look, and an essential part of the heart behind Love78.
While I may be the one generating an endless stream of ideas, Vicky helps bring wisdom, honesty, and balance to the process. She is also the inspiration for many moments in Man, I Love This Woman—sometimes without realizing she has just handed me another comic.

Katie, Abby & James
Our three adult children—Katie, Abby, and James—are part of the story that made Love78 what it is. Family experiences, conversations, shared laughter, and the lessons of growing together shape the way I see the world and the things I create.
Each brings a unique personality and perspective to our lives. Whether directly involved in a project or simply inspiring a story, they are a reminder that Love78 begins with relationships, not a list of products.

THE UNSTOPPABLE FIRSTBORN
Katie inherited her mom’s determination and remarkable ability to get things done. When she sets her mind to something, obstacles are simply problems waiting for solutions. Driven, thoughtful, and full of heart, she brings the kind of strength that makes the rest of us wonder whether the word “impossible” is even in her vocabulary.
Abby
DAD’S PARTNER IN COMEDY
Abby definitely inherited her dad’s sense of humor—and she is not shy about sharing it! Quick with a joke, ready to jump into the silliness, and always capable of taking the laughter up another notch, she brings creativity, energy, and a whole lot of fun to the family. If Pat starts something ridiculous, there is a good chance Abby will help make it even better.
James
THE QUIET SCENE-STEALER
Easygoing, thoughtful, and proudly geeky, James shares the family’s love of games, movies, and a good adventure. He may quietly watch the chaos unfold, but when he finally delivers a perfectly timed observation, everyone knows he’s been paying attention.
