I remember our love from long ago
The talks, the walks and where we used to go.
I remember how we planned out our life
From kids to old age with you as my wife.
More I remember what holding you meant
For being with you has no supplement.
I remember getting lost in your eyes.
And how you could always make my spirits rise.
I remember how much I longed for you,
And how I could see you longed for me too.
More I remember my failure to see
Just how much you really did mean to me.
This said, I wish to renew my wedding vow.
Through good and bad, I will always love you.
Dedicated to my wonderful wife of eight years on Jan. 14, 1999 @ 1:02pm
