COME TO THE KING’S TABLE

(Inspired by Isaiah 55)

[DUET] ### [Intro]

(Frame drum • lute • stomps • claps)

[The Hall]
Oh… oh…
Oh… oh…

—

[Verse 1]

[Male Lead]
Come, all who hunger,
Come draw near.

[Female Lead]
Come, all who thirst,
The King is here.

[Male Lead]
No silver needed…

[Female Lead]
No price to pay…

[Together]
His table waits
For all today.

[The Hall]
Come and receive!
Come and receive!

—

[Verse 2]

[Male Lead]
Why chase shadows
That never stay?

[Female Lead]
Why spend your strength
On empty days?

[Male Lead]
Come taste the goodness…

[Female Lead]
Come find true life…

[Together]
His living bread
Will satisfy.

[The Hall]
Come to the King!
Come to the King!

—

[Chorus]

[Male Lead]
Come to the waters!

[Female Lead]
Come to the feast!

[Together]
Come to the mercy
The King has prepared!

[Male Lead]
Open your heart!

[Female Lead]
Hear His call!

[The Hall]
Oh… oh…
Come to the King!

Oh… oh…
His grace is free!

—

[Verse 3]

[Male Lead]
His thoughts are higher
Than all our own.

[Female Lead]
His ways are greater
Than we have known.

[Male Lead]
Just as the rain…

[Female Lead]
Waters the earth…

[Together]
His living Word
Brings life to birth.

[The Hall]
His Word is true!
Forever true!

—

[Chorus]

[Male Lead]
Come to the waters!

[Female Lead]
Come to the feast!

[Together]
Come to the mercy
The King has prepared!

[Male Lead]
Open your heart!

[Female Lead]
Hear His call!

[The Hall]
Oh… oh…
Come to the King!

Oh… oh…
His grace is free!

—

[Bridge]

[Male Lead]
Go out with joy!

[Female Lead]
Walk on in peace!

[Together]
The mountains sing!
The hills rejoice!

[Male Lead]
The trees clap loud!

[Female Lead]
Creation sings!

[Together]
The whole earth

[The Hall]
Welcomes the King!
Welcomes the King!

—

[Final Chorus]

[Male Lead]
Come to the waters!

[Female Lead]
Come to the feast!

[Together]
Come to the mercy
The King has prepared!

[Male Lead]
Open your heart!

[Female Lead]
Hear His call!

[The Hall]
Come and receive!

The King is good!

His mercy flows
Like endless streams!

Oh… oh…
Come to the King!

Oh… oh…
Forever rejoice!
