Emerald Dragon University is pleased to welcome Azariah “Zee” Condorah to a permanent appointment as associate professor in ancient languages and epigraphy.

For students who have already encountered Professor Condorah during his time as a visiting professor, the announcement brings a welcome sense of continuity. The familiar face at the front of the classroom is becoming a lasting part of the campus community.

Condorah’s field concerns the words people left behind: ancient languages, inscriptions, and the challenge of understanding voices separated from us by centuries. His approach invites students to bring curiosity, examine their assumptions, and take the evidence seriously.

His appointment gives students more opportunities to learn from a scholar whose enthusiasm reaches beyond translating a line of text. The larger question is what those words can tell us about the people who wrote them—and whether we are listening carefully enough to understand.

There is plenty of excitement about what his continued presence will mean for students and colleagues alike. After a visiting appointment, Professor Condorah is putting down firmer roots in Valehaven.

Welcome to the next chapter, Professor Condorah. Go Dragons!
